Hello! My name is Janis Schneider and welcome to Aquamedia. Here you will see examples of work that I have done in various media: watercolors (including botanical paintings, landscapes, and still lifes), abstract watercolors, graphic design, textile design, and illustration. A little bit about myself: I am a visual artist and designer, originally from New York City but currently residing in North Carolina. I have spent my lifetime exploring issues of color, line, shape and form - seeking to utilize them to create a body of work that is both of high quality artistically as well as expressive and meaningful. I have worked as a potter, a fabric designer, a graphic designer, and as an illustrator. I have also done work in Web design, creating and implementing this one.
